About
Edward J. Zivica
Born and raised in New York city, Edward left the metropolis to join the U.S. Navy in 1960. After seven years of service in the submarine force, functioning as a nuclear reactor operator, Edward left the service a married man and the father of one child.
He was discharged in Charleston S. C. and moved to Los Alamos, New Mexico and took a job as a reactor technician. It was here, in the land of enchainment, that Edward found his interest in sculpture.
It was many years later that Edward, when living in Oregon, envisioned the story of Whispering Whale. It took twenty years of on and off effort before its completion was achieved. |
